MA law: Unemployment ceased for temp job, now temp job on hold for medical issues

I live in MA. I worked at a co for over 9 years & was laid off. They called back within 3 weeks & offered me a temporary job. I am dealing with medical issues that I wont be able to work for a time. Will I be able to end the temp job & go back on unemployment? Or does that negate the unemployment? Thank you!!

@Chloe379,
When you say ". . . end the temp job", that sounds like quitting. In New Mexico, that would probably disqualify you. Refusing a job offer might also be somewhat problematic, though the specific rules around here seem open to interpretation. Also, being medically unable to accept employment is sometimes a problem. Your state is different, of course. MA is much more employee oriented.
