@tsarstepan,
Tsar, that's monstrous!!!
@vonny,
You're welcome. I literally watched less then 5 seconds of the video before closing it and posting it here.
@tsarstepan,
Thank you - NOT! I watched it all - I'll have nightmares tonight ...
@tsarstepan,
That's strangely scary! Here's something calmer - a farm in Poland ,where a hardworking spider has been busy spinning an intricate web.
@tsarstepan,
Spiders on moss in Minnesota
Apparently, my little house spiders all got 'a little too warm hearted' as we used to say. In the past week, hundreds (at least) of baby spiders have hatched in various parts of the house. Cute little fellers, you know, but they're getting a little annoying. They're every where, and the air is full of them. At first, I thought I was being invaded by late summer gnats. They seem to float in the air and kind of jitter around in the smallest air currents.
No problem, but it feels kind of creepy when a long strand of spider silk drapes itself across your bare shoulders and back. They don't feel so great when they start crawling away, looking for a better home. Earlier today, I folded up my little wire book holder and 15 minutes later, some eager beaver/spider had criss crossed it with webbing. I'm almost afraid to stay still for very long.
I guess it'll be okay, though. They need to set up housekeeping in out of the way corners, with enough light to attract flying insects. I fear most of them end up in a hostile forest of carpet and starve to death. Other varieties might flourish there, but these are web spiders
