Margo understood it perfectly, and even if she didn't, she'd wait until both of us had sobered up and then privately ask what the hell I was going on about.

Okay, okay ... no need to go all handbags on me.

@Lordyaswas,
In Germany, I'm suffering killer jet lag (she writes at 4.03am).
I'm inspecting Christmas markets and wondering why it's so cold. And where are the mangoes?
I'll be in Blighty soonish where it's equally cold. I don't get this cold at Christmas bit. It's not natural!
I like that Aussie carol Smile

Looks like we'll be probably waving to each other on aeroplanes soon then, as it looks like I'll be in the Swiss Alps over Xmas.....well, actually the Jura mountains which are almost as good as the alps, but don't sound so flash.
Are you visiting rellies? Or enjoying yourself? Very Happy

Soccer is sooooooo boring even the sports reporters don't want to watch the game.

Generally boring. Have enjoyed a couple of important games that Australia have played in. Have found that the enjoyment of sport is generally determined by your emotional investment in the outcome. If you don't care, then you really have to love the game being played.

That's a pretty fair assessment of how it works.

@Ticomaya,
Actually, that little left footer has a natural flair about him as well, judging by the way he jumps on that second chance and hits it with some considerable power.
That defender is a little hero, and did what would be expected of any good defence.
If they all played like that in the game, I would have loved to have watched it.

Lots of fresh air, bursts of hard, physical exercise, tactics, teamwork, talent and competition.

Not a shoulderpad or helmet in sight.

Ah, the beautiful game......
