Hi guys! I?ve recently been to Belarus ? vizited my relatives. You know there?s such an anxiety out there about their President Lukashenko who?s sheltering ousted Kyrgyz president Kurmanbek Bakiyev. The matter is that the people are against Bakiyev staying in Belarus ?cause it?s sure to damage the country?s reputation which in fact has already been severely damaged. However Lukashenko doesn?t care and he hunts his own line, I mean he says Bakiyev is his friend and a legal President of Kyrgyzstan. All in all he is the only head of state who still supports the Bakiyevs.
Actually I don?t think that it?s their friendship that matters, I?d say it?s all about money. In fact I?m not alone in that opinion if you get my drift.
You see, people there say that not only Lukashenko ordered to make unregistered supplies of sugar to Kyrgyzstan so that the money went into both presidents? pockets instead of going to the budgets. He and Kurmanbek Bakiyev?s son Maxim with his gangster-like partners Nadel and Gurevich also jointly created a rather complex scheme of trading under which even greater money dodged the budgets. While infamous Boris Berezovsky ? also a ?close friend? of both Lukashenko and Bakiyev is considered to be behind all the dealings.
So can you now actually believe in purely friendly motives of Lukashenko? I can?t. Well even if something of it has been a bit exaggerated there?s still not a slightest hint of friendship. Huh.. I wouldn?t like to live in Belarus now guys...
