The Liberals, headed by the Democrats, have shot themselves in the foot. As a result, the Conservatives, not necessarily led by the Republicans, have a golden opportunity to capitalize. I think of these two groups as two basketball teams battling each other while the fan base of one is defecting to the other:

Scott Brown is not a true conservative. Joe Kennedy would have been a better choice and the Massachusetts Tea Partiers wimped out by not voting for the 3rd Party candidate. Brown represents more of the same: big govt and a shellacking of the Constitution.
