in this movie, Zeitgeist - The Movie, 2007 among other things, they give a description of how the federal reserve bank operates and how their actions in the past caused the Great Depression.
They also describe how we can NEVER eradicate our national debt. (I was under the impression that our national debt was owed to foreign countries)
If they give an accurate accounting of fact, how do we as a people undo the corrupt system that is in place and get back to what works?

By stopping the fed from printing more devaluing currency to feed our nations cycle of debt. It's really quite simple, the problem is that there are people making trillions by ******* us over, and as long as they have the money to weather the storm, they couldn't give a rats ass.

@92b16vx,
crystal ball indeed.

about the billionaire bankers that control our "money" supply, when I was growing up in the 80's a millionaire was fabulously wealthy. So what do these bankers who do absolutely nothing productive with THEIR money need to keep making more while people like me who actually have to work for ours need assistance just to keep our families fed and doctored? AND I have to worry that they just might say one day "sorry, thats just not money anymore, just paper, we have new money now"

I was in jail once in my home county that makes millions of dollars a month housing federal inmates awaiting trial, my absolute favorite quote was from a guy whose nickname is Tree, "so I robbed a bank, I didn't steal any ***kin' MONEY!"

@hatukazi,
blame socialism.

yes.

Go back to FDR... THE soclialist if there ever was one (albiet needed at the time).

he took the gold standard off and made owning gold illegal for some time. all gold coins were to be melted. He also implemented the first non silver certificate.
a dollar used to be able to be traded in for a silver coin until the late 40s.
