Perhaps, but remember that Wikileaks was not responsible for EITHER attack. They merely post information gathered. Bill-O attacked Leaks over Palin's hack, but they had nothing to do with it... the internet as a whole didn't exactly like that.

I'll put a few bucks down that Bill bites his tongue in the future.

If one sets up a mechanism to more easily enable and expand the damage done by an attack and thus encourage an attack , does one still bare no responsibility for that attack when it happens?

If a gun company produces a gun with no safety, and someone plugs their foot by accident, does the gun company bear responsibility? Of course not... keep your hand off the trigger!

Wikileaks does not perform the attacks nor does it perform any illegal activity. Therefore no, they bear none of the responsibility. They also don't encourage attacks.

Trust me, many have tried to pull them down with that claim. Many have failed.

Regardless, that's a hefty claim. That's one of those spins that turns truth if you let it go too long. Except now you're linking the Democrats to a 20 year old rogue hacker with a sense of humor.
