lgf: Video: World's Craziest Dictator on Al Jazeera

World's Craziest Dictator on Al Jazeera

The Colonel put on his weird pseudo-military outfit for this speech praising Barack Obama, broadcast June 11th on Al Jazeera (the terrorists? favorite satellite channel). But somebody should let FightTheSmears.com know, because Colonel Gaddafi has obviously been receiving those right-wing emails too; he seems to believe Obama is a Muslim, and he?s spreading this smear to the entire Islamic world. (Courtesy of MEMRI TV.)

Quote:
There are elections in America now. Along came a black citizen of Kenyan African origins, a Muslim, who had studied in an Islamic school in Indonesia. His name is Obama. All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man. They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency. But we were taken by surprise when our African Kenyan brother, who is an American national, made statements that shocked all his supporters in the Arab world, in Africa, and in the Islamic world. We hope that this is merely an elections ?clearance sale,? as they say in Egypt ? in other words, merely an elections lie. As you know, this is the farce of elections ? a person lies and lies to people, just so that they will vote for him, and afterwards, when they say to him: :?You promised this and that,? he says: ?No, this was just elections propaganda.? This is the farce of democracy for you. He says: ?This was propaganda, and you thought I was being serious. I was fooling you to get your votes.?
Allah willing, it will turn out that this was merely elections propaganda. Obama said he would turn Jerusalem into the eternal capital of the Israelis. This indicates that our brother Obama is ignorant of international politics, and is not familiar with the Middle East conflict.

@DiversityDriven,
That's kinda funny... you were ready for me to get in here.

Best not to disappoint.

Anyway... Gaddafi? The one that has repeatedly attacked Obama because of his stance towards Israel?

"Obama's announcement that unified Jerusalem should be the capital of Israel and that he will support it with $30 billion during the next 10 years, has disappointed the hopes" of both Arabs and Africans.

BBC NEWS | Middle East | Gaddafi attacks Obama on Israel

The same Gaddafi that hints at accusations that the Jews assassinated Kennedy?

I find it rather strange that the fundamentalists will ignore every single thing that a "radical" leader says, yet the instant they say the name of the opponent, regardless of how sharp an attack it may be, they believe every single bit of it.

Also of note... this is the SAME Gaddafi that endorsed the Bush administration back in the 80's. You know... Daddy Bush.

But we don't learn history, do we? As long as it is politically advantageous... that's all that matters.

"Right"?

You're gonna have to do better than that Smile

Never said you did. I merely attacked the article. Gaddafi holds no love for Obama, saying he has an "inferiority complex" or saying he will "act whiter than the whites", whatever that means.

The Muslim claim has long been laid to rest. There isn't even a hunk of that horse left to beat.

The "Kenyan African origins" is again implied as an attempted twist, leading to the aforementioned and misinformed Muslim claim. Bam was born in Hawaii.

The "Islamic school" claim is also one that has been debunked. The only thing that makes that particular school "Muslim" is its student body. Of course that's like saying a school in backwater Mississippi is a "Fundamentalist Redneck Creationist" school because of its student body.

It's also neat to note that Bam attended Catholic schools during the same time and same geographical location. He even speaks of it in his book... saying that his mother was not concerned with his knowledge of prayer and religious whatnots, but 'whether he was properly learning his multiplication tables'. But that's just one of those annoying "fact" things that can be tossed, right?

You wanted me to attack the article. I did.
