This is either a blatant lie, or just plain sensationalistic slanted journalism. I saw the report on the news last night, and they had the contents of the backpack laid out on the ground. It was hardly "packed with explosives", there were what appeared to be four hand grenades.
JUst like any other news story talking about say AK47s, falsely portraying them as some evil entity set upon the world by satan himself. Completely failing to mention that any number of readily availible hunting rifles has the same, if not more destructive power. News is teh ghey.
