Come on, grunge, alt rock, and even the pop songs were good. God I miss my childhood.

Seal's "Kiss from a Rose" owns. Thoughts?

@Freeman15,
no no and no

the 90's gave us some good stuff from bands like the Goo Goo Dolls, Buckcherry, Tom Petty, Greenday and a few others

but the majority of it was bubble gum pop BS Seal, Backstreet, etc

or the Grunge phase which basically took advanced guitar playing and threw it out the window for untechnically inspired garbage from a bunch of depressed adults trying to be teenagers which eventually produced.... Emo *BARF*

I'll take "Appetite for Destruction" over "Nevermind" anyday

Alrighty now....lay off "Seal"....mighty funny Heidi Klum liked him enough to marry him...and she's on that hit "Project Runway".....Kiss From a Rose, and Crazy are great songs....he even duets with the great Joni Mitchell and Wendy & Lisa...not shabby at all.

@Freeman15,
I listen to a lot of 90's music, but really prefer much older rock, and blues more.

Hey Hey Hey Hey.....hey.

Seal is in no way comparable to Kenny G. Seal is a large black man, Kenny G is a small white man. Further, Seal's face was irreparable disfigured in Vietnam after he personally charged Hanoi with only a sharpened pencil and a tube of Crest. During the battle he killed the entire Vietcong Army, and made the world safe for non-threatening R&B singles. He also invented barbeque.

@Freeman15,
Give me the good old 70's music any day (except the disco) I am a big fan of the old country rock bands. Skynard, Wet Willie, Outlaws, Marshall Tucker Band. Also kicking a lot of ass back then was Pink Floyd, Aerosmith and Boston.
