so, you got married, wife secrectly pocketed money into other accounts, filed for divorce, and now you're getting screwed out of your money that she stole?

After you get this mess sorted out, submit it to Hollywood. It's movie material. lol

I'm sorry this has happened to you. It's pretty frustrating. My son just went through an ugly situation and after years of building his place and assets the boyfriend ended up with it all! And my son ended up with jail time for trying to take his own snowmobiles, horses, etc!

Do you have relatives in Idaho? My husband has cousin with the same name!

Yeah I saw that but this cousin was from Washington and then moved east to teach in a college so thought it was a possiblity cause I know he had some real trials recently. Ya never know!

If you can prove she hid the money (and you know where it is) during your marrage a judge is going make her cough it up. Private detectives are worth their weight in gold in an ugly divorce. If all else fails, sue her and represent yourself and bleed her dry of any of the funds hid away.

Brian I like the wood chipper idea, make sure you always bleed the cough cough animal first because there will be blood everywhere. No need to mess a perfectly good workshop with blood and guts.

My first wife planned to move our family business to New York City. Because I refused to uproot our children she made her plans without me - and without telling me. She moved all the company bank accounts and took $77,000 in cash from our wall safe. After we agreed that she could have her business as long as I kept the home and kids, her ball-buster lawyer said she could keep the business and still get half the value of our home, about $600,000 at the time in 1977 dollars. Worst part was, the court fully supported her. My advice is to forget it - keep moving ahead. Dust yourself off and remember that your eyes are in the front of your head for a reason - to look forward.

Raw deal or what Socal, I think judges are waking up to the fact that women have the upper hand in Divorce cases. At least she didn't get her greedy hands on the children.

I still like the woodchipper idea thou, but then I like revenge. It's best served cold and as often as possible.

I cannot hang on to it, it is like an insidious toxin that poisons you from the inside out. Not many woodchippers in good old SoCal.....
