CLAIM: "I have no ambition whatsoever to use (the war) as a political issue."
- President Bush, 1/23/02 [Source]

CLAIM: “Politics ought to stay out of fighting a war. There was too much politics during the Vietnam War. There was too much concern in the White House about political standing."
- President Bush, 3/13/02 [Source]

CLAIM: "[People] need to be very cautious not to seek political advantage [from the 9/11 or the War on Terror]... Such commentary is thoroughly irresponsible and totally unworthy of national leaders in a time of war."
- VP Dick Cheney, 5/16/02 [Source]
FACT: "The Republican Party is responding this week with its first advertisement portraying Mr. Bush as fighting terrorism...By indirectly invoking the Sept. 11 attacks, the commercial plays to what White House officials have long contended is Mr. Bush's biggest political advantage: his initial handling of the aftermath of the attacks."
- NY Times, 11/21/03 [Source

GW Bush is a Hypocrite and a freakin' nutcase.

If I posted on the Net that God talks to me directly and instructs me to attack people and nations I am sure that peole would call me a nutcase, fruitcake etc. Why isn't anyone saying that about GW?

You can ass-ume anything you wish to.
Some people are unaware that GW gets his instructions straight from God. I believe that is important info. It may confort some and freak others out.

Straight up
I am somewhat concerned about a President that claims to have been appointed by God and then says that God instructs him. Seems to me that means that this President deems himself above us. He is a civil servant to the people not our Commander who can dictate instructions given to him by God. Doesn't this worry anyone?

I'm not exactly sure what issue the White House actually has with Iran. Aren't they getting instructions from the same source?
