@Fatal Freedoms,
"What part about america was morality?"
Just as much as that which was about SPAIN.
"The massacre of the indians?"
The Spanish killed
more Indians, because they had access to more. They also bred with them so as to create the manufactured race called Mestizo (the majority racial type in Latin America) and ripped off their gold and silver, only to lose it, in turn, to England and the Low Countries because they were too lazy and disorganized to develop manufacturing themselves.
"The stealing of land from the mexicans?"
The Spanish stole it from the Indians. We just stole it from thieves. So what?
"The enslavement of blacks?"
After they murdered the Indians in the Caribbean, the Spanish replaced them with huge numbers of Black slaves. The US declined buying Cuba for 110 million dollars from Spain before the Civil War because it was a BLACK AFRICAN SLAVE NATION, the addition of which to the US would have off-set the balance of power in Congress, favoring the South.
Unless you are 100% Indian, which you're probably not,
YOU ARE GUILTY OF THE SAME THING. Ha.
"The oppression of women?"
There is almost nothing more oppressive to women than Latin machismo.
".....people tend to look favorably at the past without knowing anything about it.... the fact is, The past wasn't any more moral than it is today. Understand your history!"
Ha. You strike me as someone who doesn't read much. I've forgotten more about your people than you ever knew, Junior. Hell, I bet my Spanish is even better than yours.:beat:
