you're absolutely right. I'm not saying it's right, fair, or correct. But it is a winning strategy and nothing about American politics is fair or right

So far, I have not heard any of the comments you mention from either side. I think that form of campaigning is too low even for the liberals.

He'll either be VP or Sec of State. Hillary needs both Obama and Richardson to lock in all the minorities. And here we had Bush, all these years, sucking up to the Hispanic vote, giving up ground like Santa Claus. What a waste. They weren't satisfied then, nor wil they be until the US Southwest is returned to the stellar country of Mexico. :thumbdown:

Nationally, among Hispanics who are registered Democrats, 59 percent said they want Clinton to be their party's presidential candidate, followed by 15 percent who prefer Obama, according to a survey released last month by the nonpartisan Pew Hispanic Center.
