No. In fact, the liberals' obsessive, patholigical, character assassination of the man has had the opposite effect on me. I am now more determined than ever to support him. After he's gone, things in general will get a whole lot worse.If you think Bush and Dick are bad, wait until you see the myriad scandals the Clinton Mafia will generate within weeks of taking office.:thumbdown:

please direct new threads outside of the water cooler to specific occurrences or detailed overall themes

general threads with no substance are often deleted

Bush is a damned good man, and so is Dick. My only disappointment with Bush is two-fold: 1) he has an intrinsic weakness for Mexico (eg, immigration); 2) he isn't aggressive, and doesn't fight back the way I want him to. Other than that, he's good to go.

I am much more ashamed of the legislative branch ( both sides of the aisle) than of the executive.
The approval rating of Congress is lower than Bush's, and I don't hear much about that in the news.
