The simple fact is that Guliani would make a great democratic candidate, as he would be able to glean votes from some moderate and the liberal republicans. But as a republican candidate, he fails to meet several key qualifications that conservative republicans look for. He is a poor choice to say the least, and the republicans will not take the white house, should he get the nomination.
