So why didn't all these anti-war democrats rush to embrace Newt? Why didn't CNN report this news? Seems to me if they were really concerned about ending the war in Iraq they'd use all the help they could get. Maybe they're only concerned about the welfare of their own bank accounts. Neutral

Exactly. The Dems know we can't pull out of Iraq, but they also know that's what The Sheeple want to hear, right now. So, they lie, all the while knowing they'll not only have to keep our troops in Iraq after they take charge, but will also have to escalate our presence there, as the war grinds on. The Dems are disgusting in their obvious deceitfulness, and The Sheeple, dumber than ever.

Yeah what's up with old Newt?

When he was in office he was nothing but a administration mouth piece , didn't matter what the lie was he'd tell it and defend it to the end.

Now all of the sudden he seems to have decided he will meet his maker and he better start telling the truth.

Maybe old Newt is sick and afraid of what god will do when he dies so he is trying to come clean and stop lying. It could work for him too.

Just gladf to hear some truth escape his mouth.
