Barack Obama's grandmother, Sarah Hussein Onyango Obama

U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama's

uncle has been a prisoner in his own home,

trapped by post election violence that has left

more than 600 Kenyans dead. 'If Barack Obama

were elected, he would improve relations between

Africa and America because he had his roots in

Africa', his uncle said.

Malik Obama, older brother to Barack Obama, holds an undated picture of

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c174/Silverchild79/obama4.jpg

Barak, left, and himself, middle, and an unidentified friend in his shop in

eastern Kenya .

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c174/Silverchild79/obama6.jpg

Barack has stated his support for Luo Raila Odinga (Opposition Leader in

Kenya who signed a 'Shariah pact' with Muslims and claims to be Obama's

cousin) and is married to Ida Odinga. They have four children - two sons and

two daughters. His oldest son, Fidel, is named after Fidel Castro.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c174/Silverchild79/obama7.jpg

Barack's father, Muslim, was married three times, attended

Harvard and returned to Kenya . Obama claims he was an atheist,

but he was raised Muslim and was given a Muslim burial at Barack's

family's request.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c174/Silverchild79/obama8.jpg

With mother Stanley Ann Dunham. In his own autobiography Obama writes,

'How and when the marriage occurred remains a bit murky, a bill of particulars

that I have never quite had the courage to explore.' (His father was still

married to his first wife Kezia in Kenya at the time.)

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c174/Silverchild79/obama12.jpg

Abandoned by his father and shipped off by his

mother to his white grandparents, Barry Sotero

becomes Barack Hussein Obama. Obama would

describe his grandparents as 'white folk.'

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c174/Silverchild79/obama13.jpg

Barack stands behind Kezia (stepmother) in a Kenyan family shot.

(Including brother Abongo ' Roy ' Obama who is a Luo activist and

a 'Militant Muslim' who argues that the black man must 'liberate

himself from the poisoning influences of European culture.' )

'Abongo's new lifestyle has left him lean and clear-eyed, and at

the wedding, he looked so dignified in his black African gown

with white trim and matching cap that some of our guests

mistook him for my father,' Obama wrote in Dreams

Obama's visit to Africa '06

Where are the transcripts of the speeches

he gave here? Campaigning for Odinga?

Wouldn't it be great to be able to read these?

Do the people of the state of Illinois know

about Obama's radical background?

@Silverchild79,
Wow, this is hilarious! I've never seen the Machine revved like this... does it have a redline?

"Barack's father, Muslim, was married three times, attended Harvard and returned to Kenya . Obama claims he was an atheist, but he was raised Muslim and was given a Muslim burial at Barack's family's request."

I was raised Christian and if had died under their care, I would have received a Christian burial.

Ready for the DUH moment? I'm "atheist".

Point: moot.

Still, it's funny to see the Machine deal with a new type of opponent. Kind of like when 20Q realizes it cant figure out what you're guessing (who would have guessed Tau Cigna IV?), so it throws the best random stuff it has.

@Silverchild79,
I post disturbing history and you respond with "so?" as if you can wipe it away, and you can't wipe it away because it's the truth of who the man is

when reality becomes inconvenient to your opinion you change the opinion, not ignore the reality. That's the first law of reason.

"Disturbing history" gets posted for seven goddamn years and you respond with "so"? Outright lies this administration has made have been posted and you respond with "so"?

Ever since Bam got the nod, the machine has been revved full tilt with every single thing the Right can throw at it. I see this same copy-paste bullshit on every right slanted site (Once a muslim, always a muslim! I hear that **** on the goddamn AM waves!), and my response is "Typical conservative rhetoric. (candidate) will surrender to the turrists! (candidate) will take your gunz! (candidate) will take away your God!

The same crap over and over with taxes, the economy, so on and so forth.

Every.

Damn.

Time.

And ya know what? It doesn't bother me because I can see clean through it. However when the Scooters, Abramoffs and McClellans start coming home to roost...

You respond with "so"?

That's some "disturbing history".

@Silverchild79,
okay, that still doesn't change the fact that Obama supports a family that has political ties to Islamic Holy Law

just like he supported a preacher who's a racist

when you do the math it give you the portrait of a very scary politician

if your logic is that Obama should be elected because the republicans got to have a fucked up president then your far far off base.

Conversely, it's very interesting that liberals have spent the better part of 8 years bemoaning Bush's presidency, chiefly on poor experience which lead to mistakes. And now, you want to elect someone who doesn't have one quarter of the experience Bush had when elected.

Doesn't sound like my problem. Not my religious conflict.

Hi, Kettle. I'm Parsley... err Pot. You're Hagee... err black!

McCain is the portrait of a scary politician. Unlike Obama, McCain shares the views of his wacky pastors. How many times has he talked down towards Islam? How many times have I heard him support this now religious war?

Just like his pastor(S). I don't hear any "GOD DAMN AMERICA!" from Obama. I don't hear him talking about AIDS and government conspiracies.

Obama needs to be elected because after eight years, well look at us. Sorry, but having all three branches swung towards the Right, even to the point of filibusters failing, you can't blame the Left. You guys are in control, this (was) your congress, this was the Republican Revolution.

This is what we got.

The key word you use there is "poor", in reference to W's experience.

I want to elect someone that won't keep shoveling our money into this black hole of a "That man tried to kill my daddy!" bout of revenge.

@Silverchild79,
"Federal law requires the preservation of electronic communications sent or received by White House staff"

One line, Silver, and I have shown you that this administration has violated FEDERAL LAW, every single day for damn near eight years.

Does this get a "so"?

@Silverchild79,
Might I also add this piece of judicial ruling...

In Hamdan v. Rumsfeld, the Supreme Court majority held that neither the AUMF nor the president's role as Commander-in-Chief trumps explicit federal law
