Rudy has chosen to forgo major competition in early primaries in favor of a national strategy. Ron Paul was supposed to be leading every st according to his own press.

McCain isn't my first choice but I'll take him over Romney, Paul, or Hickabee

Everyone with half a brain knew McCain was going to win NH, granted, I thought Paul would have done better, but considering Giuliani actually campaign more there than Paul did, it was to be expected.

I can't honestly say I'd rather have McCain than any of the others you listed, they are all pretty much the same. Hickabee (I like that) and Romney are both pretty bad, but McCain has some major issues, McCain Fiengold for one.

Straw polls mean what?

Didnt Paul have a controlling lead in Iowa and NH in those straw polls, that so many of you threw out there as proof that American wants paul? hmmmm

Straw polls < Voting booths

@92b16vx,
From an outsider looking in,i think Ron Paul has got good grass roots support,but he just dosent get the same tv exposure as the rest of the candidates involved.

There's a lot of people that are discouraged by Iowa, and NH, but his campaign is gearing up for a media blitz for bigger states. They were hoping the grassroots would do good in the smaller states, and it did, but not enough. IMO the official campaign should have spent more for real advertising, but I understand where they are coming from. To compete in the major primary states, against establishment hacks they are going to need to be prepared to spend a lot of money.

Not really. Iowa, and NH have a LOT of independents, and this is why the democrats had a record high turn out, their campaigns got to them. If RP could trim the fringe off his campaign that has been offending the sensible voter, and get out some real advertising like it is going to be soon, he could have swung a lot more.

oh come on, you can find it all over this site

"Ron Paul leading in this state, Ron Paul wins straw poll in that state. The polls we're using are inaccurate because it's a conspiracy against Ron Paul"

it's all over the place, all over myspace, all over CV

Ron Paul never stood a chance, and is a total waste of time and energy. Give it up. You might as well write in Pinochet.:bunny:
