Lets face it all the lobbists are giving all the politicians dirty money.

Good grief did anybody watch the stuff on Abermoff and Tom Delay.

They had good religious people working out of nice offices calling people for donations to lobby the congress and senate against things like partial birth abortion , and gay marraige. These workers helped to blow the whistle on those two crooks when they found out the money was not going to what it was raised for. These workers believed in the causes they had been raising money for and were heart broken they had a part in taking peoples money for false causes.

Nice well intended folks were sending money in thinking it was going for that , only to find out it was being spent to keep the Mariana Islands open and their slave factories staffed with asian women slaves.

They spent the money on some of the silliest things I ever saw.

Lobbists money comes from all sorts of just legal places. And you can bet some of the people giving those huge checks to these lobbists have gotten their money in less than ethical ways.

WE NEED PUBLIC FUNDING OF POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS , AND TO KICK ALL THE LOBBISTS OFF K STREET.

That is the only way we are ever going to get control of this governent.

You notice the politicians don't want to talk about ending the lobbist money trail, none of them democrat or republican want to jump off that money train.:thumbdown:

Lobbyists, crooked politicians, excess and corruption at every level - I am afraid the only answer is revolution. None of our elected politicians gives a rip about his or her constituents. The lack of concern for the people that elected them to office is evident every day in the news and on the net. Yet, we are powerless to effect any change in the system, our voices are mute, our issues go unanswered and still we fight among ourselves - an act that only feeds the fat cats and keeps us in the bonds of big brother.
