It's kinda funny that the only time Presidents use these is when they're already a lame duck...

@Silverchild79,
That is because that is what the opposition is usually up to in the end. IMO

@Silverchild79,
This place is like an island of insanity in a world that's starting to see the light.

"Get it done, Bush. Just do'r?" Really? Even if he's wrong, you don't care,
you put the man above the law and what is right, which is the only real reason
I defended Clinton against your bashing in that other thread.

At least be consistent in you expectations of Presidential behavior,
otherwise there's no reason to take you seriously.

So it was ok to defend Clinton even though he was wrong? Double standard.

I don't think pino asked to be taken serious. How is pino not consistent and can you back it up?

My insanity? Attempting to be informed and understand the truth is
insanity? I guess... at least here in bizarro-world board land.

Ethically wrong or legally wrong? It isn't illegal to commit adultery... that's
between he and his wife. Illegal to lie about it? Let's say he's served the
same time as Libby and move on.

Attempting doesn't mean you will succeed. Funny when you do it is trying to gain knowledge, when we do it were insane?

Why are you awarded a choice? For us it was cut and dry to you?

But it is illegal to lie about it to Congress.

And his maker. He made a vow to both. A legal and binding contract if you will, of which he broke numerious times. It was legaly her duty to inforce the contract if she so wished. Most self respecting women would of, but IMO she ain't self respecting. The highest position in our land below God and he is held to the lowest standard by you and his wife?

I'm waiting for an apology for being lied too. Funny you guys can forgive his lie but if say Bush made a supposed lie about WMD's. Even if you could prove intent would you award Bush the same forgiveness, hell no!!! He's the devil. Untill Bill apologizes i won't be expecting much from Libby.

It's "we're," not "were."

I don't see most of you doing anything but pushing uninformed opinions
and refusing to consider any other views. I think I might be insane for
bothering with this board.

There's a difference between legal proceedings and other things.

apparently not - see Libby.

You equate a sexual relationship with a war that puts lives in danger and
turns a nation and a region on its head. I give you the Paris Hilton award for
reasoning ability.

To win what? He's got a short time left. Right now he's just trying to cover his
ass and the asses of his staff. His Presidency is a failure, he's fighting to keep
it from being written in history as a corrupt failure.

Keep Fighting, Dubya. Keep fighting to keep your head above water.

Your just exuding tolerance aren't you, isn't that what you libs pride your self on, tolerance? What about open mindedness? You have problems with that too? Would a reasonable person come up with the conclusion that you have a problem yourself with both of these?

I did, did he not get convicted, and sentenced? Apparently so- ask Clinton.

Hence my self respect statement. And it is my business as he was my president. He is a public figure that got caught lieing to me and Congress. He deserve's no privacy on the matter, he lied.

Funny you should mention that, didn't bill start bombing a sovereign country about the same time he was trying to side step Congress and all the hopla about Monica? I guess you can say he equated a relationship with war as well? Seems you deserve that Paris award much moreso then I. On the note of sexual relations, i had no problem untill it was found out he lied, that is what i take offence to, the story was hearsay to that point. If he could lie so easily about that what's to say he was telling the truth about Paula Jones or Jennifer Flowers? Bill's probably our first Rapist President.

Hey there....looks like everything still stays the same....been away for a month, and still nonsense is being bandied about, par usual.
Just this morning I was listening NPR, to Al Gore, delivering his speech regarding "The Attack on the Constitution", in Constitution Hall, in January 2006. (wish I had the link...it's a must read/hear). He read off the laundry list of crimes and offenses this present administration has perpetrated against the Constitution and the American people...and called, immediately, for the Attorney General to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate possible wrongdoings....'cept the Attorney General is none other than Alberto Gonzales, who is actively in the process of covering up the wrongdoings of the White House...so, guess we won't be getting that special prosecutor, any time soon. As Al Gore mentioned...there are 3 bodies, the legislative, the judicial and the executive branches of government, all which keep each other 'in check"....'cept Cheney, with Bush as proxy, has sought to expand the powers of the executive branch, unprecedented in American history, using fear as a tactic and weapon, and removed habeas corpus as a civil, let alone "human" right and vehicle. The circumventing of the rule of law, and the dismissing of it as "executive privilege" is what is going to set impeachment hearings in motion. Now, that Congress is being held in contempt and being made a fool of, by this insanely corrupt administration, don't think that Pelosi and Reid, are not going to put impeachment back on the table....thank God, Conyers has grown a backbone, and is insisting that Harriet Miers is in contempt of Congress, by her failing to show for a subpoena, to answer the charges surrounding the removal of attorneys, solely on the basis of politics, and their willingness to follow the edicts of Cheney and Co.
Pop some popcorn....cuz the poo-poo is about to hit the fan...I'm loving it!

Wow, maybe I was mistaken...maybe some things have changed...
Now I have testosterone? Who'd have thought? My estrogen levels went down, and the testosterone went up! Amazing. And all in a month's time! LOL.

My voice? No....I've been a baritone since college. Evidently, it's quite the "radio voice", as I constantly get requests to be "on air"....glad to know you're anatomically correct...I guess.
