Al Qaeda is on a global roll, how long before the US and Canada gets attacked by these mad animals?

I'd like to know how.

Strategically, Al Qaeda would be smart to not attack the U.S. or Canada. Doing so would only tend to solidify domestic support for our WOT, the last thing a smart Mid-East enemy would want right now. By leaving these countries alone, but picking on America's other allies, such as the UK and Spain, AQ can drive wedges. The American people, if left unmolested by AQ long enough, might forget about 911, and lean toward appeasement, especially in the shadow of the Iraq War. AQ has nothing to gain by attacking anywhere in the Western Hemisphere right now. In fact, OBL could effect a huge impact on U.S. politics if he made a movie-clip in which he promised to back off if we The People elected Hillary and Obama. Man, talk about messing with our collective head, and stirring up the proverbial pot. That would do it.

If I were OBL, I'd pick on Spain, big time. I'd attack it until it agreed to openly support AQ, and transform itself into an AQ staging base, on the same scale as pre-911 Afghanistan. It might work. Spain's weak enough to fall for it. And, it's a European country, after all, predictably lacking any sense of pride or willpower. We're lucky OBL is an engineer by training. If he possessed a classical education, we'd be hurting, bad. He'd have better strategies, based on a deeper understanding of the human plight and human history. He doesn't know enough about the West to capitalize on his advantages. SPAIN WOULD FOLD, UNDER SUFFICIENT PRESSURE. SO MIGHT FRANCE.

Nah....but idea alone that some European countries are actually that weak should really make their citizenry angry.
