Strategically, Al Qaeda would be smart to
not attack the U.S. or Canada. Doing so would only tend to solidify domestic support for our WOT, the last thing a smart Mid-East enemy would want right now. By leaving these countries alone, but picking on America's other allies, such as the UK and Spain, AQ can drive wedges. The American people, if left unmolested by AQ long enough, might forget about 911, and lean toward appeasement, especially in the shadow of the Iraq War. AQ has nothing to gain by attacking anywhere in the Western Hemisphere right now. In fact, OBL could effect a huge impact on U.S. politics if he made a movie-clip in which he promised to back off if we The People elected Hillary and Obama.
