FOXNews.com - Democrats Share Concerns About Iraq War With Bush at White House Meeting - Politics | Republican Party | Democratic Party | Political Spectrum

this is proof beyond proof, Bush told them to their face he would veto it, yet they press on while they could be doing ANYTHING that would produce a positive result.

The left has put their agenda in front of the best interests in America. I'm not just talking about the war, I'm talking about immigration, social security reform, medicare reform, etc. All these things suffer so Pelosi can have her hollow and misguided "moral victory" over the President. Meanwhile nothing is getting fixed.

man the Dems have really made progress sense being in control haven't they?

Exactly , she is tilting at windmills in her effort to denigrate Bush . If she really cared about the troops , a bill to fund the things they need would be put forward with no strings attached , but she won't do that .

@Silverchild79,
Hillary digusts me. Obama Bin Laden is a Teflon Don, so I don't expect much from him, either. I think down deep, he loathes Hillary, his future boss.

@Silverchild79,
Wow. Are you a Christian, Pinochet? I know I am. Somehow, in my studies of Christ, I find that I would doubt Christ would be all that impressed by those kinds of statements.

@Silverchild79,
Of course, Obama ain't Slick, and Slick's wife, though not someone I like in the least, ain't Monica.

And what are you implying? That it's okay to do things God doesn't approve of if other people do? Very Happy

Well. The Democratic party asking the president to compromise on his position at the request of the American people. The president refuses.

Who really is running our government? Compent leaders who have the interest of country as priority or self gain? My position is self gain.

The left agenda has put the best interests of America people? Seems as though immigration, social security reform, medicare reform were in a mess before Nancy Pelosi was Speaker of House. And in my prediction will continue. But they are only fighting for the wants of their campaign donors.

At least the Democrats have responded to the loud voice of the American people.

If the voice of the people is in favor of the Democrat positions , why can't they get bills passed in Congress? Even if an end to the War On Terror is what Americans want they can't get a bigger majority to pass bills without adding pork.

Generally, I believe most politicians enter politics to do public service.

IMO, our entire government is blinded by their power, do not truly represent the people. Overall, their problem is they cannot agree on anything. For I speculate, if they all agreed they want the "best" for the all American citizens, health care would be reformed.

Regarding our WAR leadership, our political leaders would be wise to consult and adhere to our military leadership. Where is Colin Powell? (dont care, but we need his leadership)

FYI: I'm out of town until May 13th. I would like to stay away from this site, but I find it hard Smile
