there is badnews on every paper everyday about Iraq, 99% of it is BS

but this... this is actually a bad omen

it was an inevitable showdown...you cannot force a power hungry meglomaniac to back off short of killing him...This guys wants top be the power broker in Iran and Iraq no one in power there has the organs to take him on

He's another Hitler, eyeing his neighborhood for conquest and/or destruction. And the West just stands by, wishing it were not so, too scared and tired to fight him. The longer we wait, the more inevitable that fight becomes. It's WWIII in the making. When you see Major Tom on TV again, imagine Hitler, standing in the small crowd at the Munich Conference, looking undaunted and calculating. And again, Jews will pay for good people's intrepidation.

Sadr getting his goons out of the government is a bad thing? I'd say that is good news not bad!

save for the fact that he has a personal army I agree

the best strategy now is to wipe him off the map IMO
