@briansol,
It sucks that so many people are sacrificing their core conservative ideals just for the party.

I've never seen one Republican nominee who's met me on ever single issue

one time the conservative side of the republican party is the side that has to make concessions and hear how they whine! Their concessions are no worse then the one's I made when I voted for Bush as a moderate.

America is becoming Balkanized. That's why. No one speaks to the majority, because the majority, as it was once traditionally defined and recognized, is splintering. As I said before, we won't even exist as a nation within a century.:no:

So you're saying you'll vote for someone with an (R) after their name even if they disagree with you on extremely important things?

How could anyone not see how idiotic that is? A lot of conservatives have decided to support McCain 'for the good of the party.' If there's no one you like, don't vote for the one you agree with more, just stay home.

@briansol,
I want my say in who's president

so I vote for whoever most closely represents my views

no candidate will ever perfectly aling with my or anybodies political views, just not gonna happen to any of us

I don't think this is a remarkable concept
