Mac I have tried to upload pictures and it always fails..if someone can tell me how (simply) or you may take my turn :-)
1. Find a picture you want to use. (For this game, try to find one that doesn't tell the name of the picture in the url. I can give you separate instructions on how to change the url if needed.) I always get pictures from google.com - if the picture shows up there larger than the thumbnail, then it will show up here.
2. Right click on the picture and select Properties. Highlight all of the Properties information - you may need to scroll down a little to get the whole thing. Then hold down the Ctrl button and the C key at the same time to copy.
3. Back here on the thread, click Post Reply. Click on IMG to post your image. When the little box comes up, delete what's in it. With the cursor in the little box, hold down the Ctrl button and the V key to paste the image properties. Click Ok and then Submit and you're done.
hehehhehe mac obviously i can't do this...lol
It looks like you may not have the whole URL selected and/or copied. Keep trying!
my roommate is laughing hysterically and i am pulling my hair out...LOL
First click on the image to see if it has an enlargement which will also isolate it from the text. Then right click on the image, copy the properties and used the image post feature on "post reply." IMDb images have problems and will likely not upload properly here.
take my turn lw...i cant upload pictures.
Oh, that's too bad -- nobody in your family or friends who can help? I can't think of anything more to try and tell you.
Willow, are you on a Mac?
no...a dell...and if you look i have tried several times to upload pictures and failed every time...all i can do is guess..:-))
Are you truing to upload from IMDb? That could be the problem.
what is so funny LW is i have no idea what IMDb is...
I see from properties that you haven't got a jpeg. or gif. file -- the trick is to find a still that is on a page by itself (usually by clicking on the image). A lot of sites don't have links to the jpeg./gif. file so the game does require some time to research.
Put
Movie Stills
into Google search and see what comes up.
In the meantime, I'll post a new pic.
Internet Movie Database -- if you want to research about anything re a certain movie:
www.imdb.com
However, there is a problem with the movie stills on the site and they usually will not upload.
In properties, the file must end in jpeg. or gif.
