It's not in a foreign language.

The clue, BTW, is strictly sardonic.

No more guesses? The boards certainly are sleepy of late.

I guess we are now the only ones playing, Raggedy. I didn't stump all of you, did I? (Laughing gleefully). Not, not Murders but you are now getting really warm on the thematic end.

Ah, another three guesses so here's a second clue (well, I've actually given you more):

1. This film is really a ripping good time.

2. I'd be wary of tenants.

Oh. I think it's one of the Jack the Ripper movies. I'm thinking.

The Lodger? (But I don't recognize the actors in your picture)

It's the original silent version of "The Lodger," directed by none other than Alfred Hitchock and remade twice, both successfully. The alluding to Jack the Ripper is more pronounced in the 1937 and 1944 (so close together!) remakes. If you see the film, you recognize the Hitchcock style in its much more than raw beginnings.

Very interesting, Lightwizard. That was a tough one. I did see The Lodger with Laird Cregar and knew the leading lady didn't have a hairdo like the one in your picture. Laughing
