@Volunteer,
Liberals today are a weird, sickening blend of Communists and Islamo-Fascists. Marxism as an institution is dead, but its anti-Establishmentarianism is very much alive and well on American campuses. Also, because it's always faddish for Lefties to side with the West's enemies, whomever they might be at the moment, OBL and his mendacious lieutenants are heroes in their eyes. Some of this is nothing more than nostalgia, especially for vintage 1960s professors, they who imagine they're reliving their raucous youth. For a lot of students, it's a convenient pressure-valve for their traditional idealism. It's crap, more than anything else.

I really think you, and allot of other people fail to see liberals as who they are

Democrats were 100% on board after 911. Then they lost the 2002 mid term election, then they lost the 2004 general election

they realized that so long they stood with America they would sit backseat to the GOP, so they switched sides. For no better reason then they wanted control. Then all you need is a war to protest and boom your there

think their stances don't make since (or at least allot of them), your right. Because they're in "opposition" of the GOP, that's there stance.

Problem is, a political agenda, left OR right, being taught in a university is going against the construct of learning. It's isn't simply radical left that is to blame, beleive it or not the radical right is just as much to blame. Of course it's isn't only throw back radical professors, or commie social ed teachers, students have notoriously been peerpressure cookers of political design themselves.

Education is never neutral, even when it says it is.
