I'm polling to see how many people in this forum listened to the President's State of the Union speech. (I'm betting it will be around 50/50) I'm not planning on listening. So I'm a "no".

I both watched and enjoyed the speech. Not for the topics. The President is only a figurehead. I enjoyed the game of politics. To watch just the right side stand up and applause over his processed statements was rather amusing. I also enjoyed watching how Obama and Clinton reacted to the speech. Clinton was doing her best to smile, and Obama was always looking in his lap. The President lightening the mood with the "train hero" was also a wonderful trick. All in all, we're doomed....
@Doly,
Watched both. We were doomed the day we were born.
Wassup nc1clrk. Didn't think we'd see you back, been quite a while.

@Doly,
Goodnight and thanks for participating in my poll. zzzzzzzzzzzzz
@Doly,
I was unusually busy at work and could not watch , but I did get to hear some of the comments afterward .
I printed out the full text and the text of Jim Webb's official response . I will read through them by morning .
@Doly,
I didn't watch it, I'd rather read it. Nothing new that I could see. Same political spin . Boring reading also.
@Doly,
I watched, and damned if i didn't see Pelosi chewing gum?
