Divided We Are Conquered?

I think there have been plenty times when America was MORE divided, Civil war, Vietman, the difference is we didn't have internet to bring all the different views autonomously to the world.

Democracy is the best form of government, but it requires that those in power, the people, take an active role. Anymore it's to bothersome for the adverage American to take an active roll in the well being of our government and society. It's easier to bitch about it and do nothing
