Why is America racist against Black people?

Even after everything thats happened in the last 30-50 years a considerable amount of unofficial racism exists in america.
segregation is still exists, many Blacks live below the poverty line in ghetto-ised conditions.
Inter-racial relationships are lower than many other countries.
Apparently in UK over 1 in 3 Blacks will marry/have a life partner with a white person whilst in USA the figure is 1 in 10 or even less. The thought of their young daughters dating a Black man haunts many middle-aged men around america. Hip-Hop was created by White politicians to keep the Black man down and the glorification of ghetto values, livin in da hood, anti-social behaviour and gun culture has done just that. It has backfired slightly and created the wigger generation but still has acheievd its intended purpuose of keeping virtually a whole generation of Blacks in suppression.
Blacks themselves are also guilty of much anti-white sentiment aswell.

USA is more racist than may seem and the whole melting pot/multicultural thing is a facade painting over great racial divisions.

Coincidentally enough i was watching "save the last dance last night" on T.V.

I know its only a film but i theorise that it reflects a certain amount of reality. The scene on the train where that women was looking at them oddly for being a Black-White couple was disgraceful. Its indicative a various underlying tensions.

It seems this forum is ridiculously pro-american and anti- me.
on another forum there are Americans (obviously more qualified than me) who back me up about racism in USA.

There will always be racists. You can try till the day you die to convience everyone to treat everyone equally but you are just wasting your time.

u can be a proud american but still admit there is lots of racism.

i f**king love america. everything that is american (apart from sports IMO) is far superior but u have racism issues still and attempts to shroud over it with the whole melting pot thing are poor.

America is not racist, Black Americans have had ample chance to achieve in our society. Many of them have, however those that blame everyone else for their misfortunes, do themselves the most damage. Many blacks have seized the opportunities of the USA, hwoever some would rather not and blame someone else for it. It is like that with every race.

Look at there complexions, which one is white and which is black? Why would a maybe white guy be mad at a cream colored guy? Or is it cocoa?
