Supoena's didn't scare demo's why should they scare repugs. Accusations are a little harder to prove in court, But being as most of the time you feel you don't have to prove anything. That about as as they will get.

I am not seeing that happen. If the situation in Iraq improves it will be because of Democratic pressure of which caused Rumsfeld to resign. Had the Republicans stayed in power Rumsfeld would have probably stayed in.

Republicans sound upset that Bush chose to wait until after the election to remove Rumsfeld. Some of them claim that if Rumsfeld was removed back in September that it might have tipped the scales in their favor in close races.
