I'm not quite as happy as those folks. We cleaned up a mess we helped create, which is nothing to cheer about.

Two car bombs going off over there this morning may have put a damper on a few folks dancing in the streets.

Things seem to be business as usual.

I am glad Saddam got a taste of his own medicine. :cool:

I felt sorry for the old scumbag. Yeah....he was one EVIL bastard, but I still felt sorry for him. Killing is a tough job. Glad I'm not in that business.:FU1:

I didn't really feel sorry for him, he had it coming.IMO.

I don't agree with the way he was executed. His executioners were taunting him, which I thought was ignorant and uncalled for.

Yeah.....and chanting vengefully the name of an Islamic leader Saddam had had executed. The guy was probably just as brutal as Saddam, if not worse. I have read allegations made by hefty scholars that Arabs are uncivilized, and that Islam's popularity among them is attributable to its theological compromises to their basic, brutal nature. At times I wonder. :FU1:
