Castro - Fidel or Raul - any difference ?

Fidel Castro will soon have surgery and will temporarily pass the reins of power over to his brother .
Do you think this will make any difference ?
Either to the people of Cuba or to the US ?

I am not up to snuff on the politics of this , so I am asking your opinions . Usual terms , intelligent posts with backup quotes and sources .

I think it will have the same effect that Ariel Sharon's passing of power had. Oh wait...Smile

I would like to hope that something would come about, but I don't imagine that the recovery time will be that drawn out.

The only way things will change over there is if he dies? His brother is pretty incognito. Probably afraid of assasination?
