Flag Desecration Amendment Fails in Senate by One Vote

This was not a vote to ban flag burning or desecration. It was carefully worded to allow Congress the ability to later decide exactly what entailed "desecration" and ban that if desired.

Why the hell are they debating **** like this? This is absurd. There are far better things to be debating and voting on than this.
