Russia Defies the West and Arms Iran With Missile Defense System

If Israel attacks Iran it will look like a Chinese holiday.Oh well. Israel has the best air force american money can buy.

The defense contractors must be loving this.

Which defence constrators? Russia's, ours, or both? Isn't free market enterprise wonderfull?

In this case Russia.

Every time we go to war the defense contractors are the companies that reap the profits. Iran looks to be starting an arms build-up. If Israel feels it needs more weapons I don't see us refusing.

I agree, but those defence contractors are human and there profits have to trickle down. They make what ever country they belong too strong as a deterent. Without defence contractors we would not be who we are.

Russia has a ways to go before they catch our arms sales.This is a bit outdated but it gives a general outline of who is top dog.

It doesn't give us much leverage to complain about someone else selling arms.

In the case of Iran, their weapons purchase was for defensive purposes. If they were offensive weapons that would be cause for concern.

Every country has a right to defend itself.

They sure do, no matter how feable the attempt.

However, if you call yourself an ally of the United States, helping our enemy defend itself sends mixed messages.

Russia an ally? Since when?
