@Brent cv,
Al Jazeera.net is one of my favorite web site but I prefer antiwar.com. Antiwar.com is head and shoulders above all the others.

@Mujahedin,
Biased reporting serves no constructive purpose regardless of what language it is.

Brent, I've noticed you make a hell of a lot of pro-war posts BUT you're profile says you're only 21. Which makes me wonder why you're not in the military. I DID my time in Viet Nam in 1969. How about you? Are you, perhaps, just another armchair warrrior like Dick Cheney? :p

because serving in the military is not a requirement to holding a belief that what we are doing in Iraq is necessary.

I find your comment to be a pretty rude and ignorant attempt at somehow discrediting my opinion and belief because I personally do not serve in the military.

Thank you for serving our country, but with that service comes no right to tell me what I should believe based on me serving or not serving in the military.

We all have people in the military that we care about if not by blood with friendships. Even if you do not know anyone personally these are your fellow Americans putting their lives on the line for me. You probably won't meet anyone that has more respect for the military and people who serve in it than me.

@Brent cv,
I never served in the military either , and I certainly have opinions .
I did serve in the Peace Corps , does that count ?

Intelligent consideration of events and causes will help one gain reasonable opinions , and we all have the right to voice our opinion .

Do you understand the concept of a republic? When you did your time was it underprotest? Were you drafted? Because you served do you deserve a higher position in debate's? Do you feel your opinion warrants more weight because you served? By the term "Freedom of Speech" does it hold only if you have served?

I'm 42, what are my chances?
By the way, here is what you profile says:

@Brent cv,
Take it how ever you like. To my recollection, i have never said they were not biased. But i do believe they are by far "fair and balanced" more so then any other news cast.
