@Brent cv,
You may be a conservative, Brent, but you have to admit that bunch was
pretty out of the box. Every conservative economist I could find to read was
getting ulcers over the way they were running up the deficit and borrowing
money from China to cover it.

I think the elections actually signal a triumph for moderation and not a swing
way to the left. The Dems won't be able to do anything really irresponsible.

This is good news.

@oleo,
Since the international bankers of Wall Street control both
major parties why shouldn't they be happy?

@Drnaline,
The reaction of Wall Street has been a surprise , since everyone was predicting a crash if the Democrats took power. Even a drop in the housing market can't slow them down.:cool:

@Drnaline,
Oh yea, the House George built:

Shattered record for biggest annual deficit in history.

Set economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period.

Set all-time record for biggest drop in the history of the stock market.

Cut unemployment benefits for more out of work Americans than any president in US history.

Set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12 month period.

Signed more laws and executive orders circumventing the Constitution than any president in US history.

Cut healthcare benefits for war veterans.

Created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the United States.

Removed more checks and balances, and have the least amount of congressional oversight than any presidential administration in US history.
