It seems the BBC has been caught admitting to being bias to one particular religion/political system

I do Not think so..Americans- Muslims do need it.. They seems more intagrate than British Muslims...Here the situation is insane..BBC is an example of the many problems we are facing since the attacks...Instead to condemn these people Britsh seem to assume a cudling, cowardly attittude..Before to do anything be careful it could offend the muslims!!!!

You're in a position know more about it than I am.:worship: Very Happy

I don't read anything they report on.:dunno:

The Muslims have been quiet over here since 9-11. I think they realize what will happen if they get vocal about our country.:jail: :bangin: :rocketwhore:

Well, they're screwed up for that! Muslims are violent so everyone tip toes
around them. Screw that!

SOUTH PARK:
"No, I think we should stand up for the cartoonists! I think we should each draw
our own picture of Muhammed, and go find Muslims to show them to, and tell
them that in a tolerant society they have to accept the beliefs of others just
as we have to accept their beliefs!"

"Well, I'm more into this 'bury our heads in the sand' idea!"

SARAH SILVERMAN:
"Last night I was about to do this really edgy joke about black people, and
I noticed this table right by the stage with these 3 black guys... and I looked
at them... and I just couldn't. I couldn't do the joke about black people...
because I was scared of them, so I changed it to 'chinks!'"

So you live in the U.K.?

Yes, for the most part everyone integrates into America more easily... if they
want to. No one ostracizes arab-americans who become part of mainstream
culture here.

Strangely, of all the arab and perisans I've known none of them remained
"hardcore" muslim, even if they weren't born here. The college here has
a lot of muslim foreign students, who keep to themselves and return when
they're done. I guess it's the people who come here seeking a westernized
environment in the first place are ready to shed all of that.

So, yes, you would have a totally different experience. Even in places
like Brooklyn, where enclaves get established and things stay traditional
for muslims there seems to be a little more openess. I know of the problems
in France, Belgium and the Netherlands from acquaintences.

@oleo,
Yes i live in London...

Excatly, my point...I do not have anything against muslim who are open and willing to accept our way...Like muslims living in America..But here i feel conflicted because i cannot express my own opinion not for fear of muslim retaliation, but because our society allow muslim to inflict fear ( to be prosecuted, to be called racist, and so on...), this state of things give radical muslim the advantage to manipulate our political system in their favour..

Sadly this make me realize that i am an outcast in my own country..Do you think that after this experience i will be sympatetic with muslim community? Hell noooo!

In USA the things are not so unilateral like here..I think you live much better, your muslims and other community have come to an understanding, especially after 9/11...I think that's great!!

In England everything spin around muslim community, give them the better jobs, give them political power, give them the bigger house and more money, then i turn around and i see an english bloke who fought for this country with a low pension, or in the street begging for money...No justice!!!! I have the horrendous feeling that our country in slipping away from me and my fathers....It is too painful...You are very lucky, that's the reason why i love \America so much...
