Mark Foley Scandal and Hasert

What is everyones take on whether Hasert should step down for not doing enough to stop Foley before it escalated into what it is today? With all the warnings that it seems were presented to him as far as 2003 do you think he should step down?

@Brent cv,
From what I readWorldNetDaily: 'Gay' activist held info about Foley

Heres a link to the guy that found the pages Im's and outted him. Its several long articles but read all of them if you can.

Passionate America

Heres an article saying all the Foley info was held until it could do the most damage to the Republicans.

FBI Says Soros’ CREW Sat On Foley Emails Since April | Sweetness & Light

Robin Katsaros is a Pulosi friend and was writing a book on the pages Do I see this going right on Pulosi's doorstep?

Ok here is the article linking Robin Katsaros, a Kerry Supporter, whos gay son was a page for Nancy Pelosi:
Further unraveling of the Foley case (Pelosi alert!)

AND this:
Foley Setup? - Part XIV - Putting it together

Heres is her son's MySpace page. read what hes says about not feeling like an American.. little snit.
www.myspace.com/chasefitch

Last but NOT least, I am NOT defending Foleys actions AT ALL. He needs to have his butt kicked hard (but ya might lose your foot up there)

There is talk that these IM's, which are THE REAL PROBLEM were messed with and are NOT the original ones. Somebody may have made them up or made them sound a bit worse than they were, BUT Foley was obviously guilty or he wouldnt have resigned.

This is 4 days of research by a noob! I don't have near as much info as is out there. Most of you have probebly read all this stuff already.

XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX THU OCT 5 2006 2:53:48 ET XXXXX

CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE CHATS WERE PAGE 'PRANK GONE AWRY'
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**

According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.

The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the investigation.

The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.

The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.

Developing...

@Drnaline,
Correct, thats what got me so interested in the first place. Nancy Pelosi's buddy Robin Katsaros (or Kasaros as its spelled at times) was supposedly writing a book about the pages and had lots of info from former pages and from a few of Foleys pages. It all makes me think that Robin used this 'book" thing to find a bit more info for her buddy Pelosi.

Jordan Edmund's (Foleys IM boy toy) lawyer is not denying nor admitting to a prank by pages. Its seems to me more of a plot by Robin Katsaros and Pelosi to out Foley and do damage to repubs.

@Brent cv,
If anyone wants to help with internet sleuthing and connecting the dots. Some bloggers could use some help.

I dont know if theres anything to it but it seems Ron Gunzburger, a well known Florida Democrat is connected to some Major Gay Porn Sites which was hosted on the same server as Congressional Webpages. You'll have to read the whole thing. They are all very well connected it seems. Go check it out.. it has sleeze, corruption and maybe the end of some demoncrats! Woohoo!

@GoodBoy,
What do you mean by " blessed by god"? They already played the moral values card. I don't hear a lot about their moral values this time around.

@Brent cv,
What of what he did was imoral? In DC the age of concent is 16. When some one choose's to engage in his chosen preference i believe does not make it immoral in his mind as most gays people seem to think. Are you saying he is immoral for being gay?
I got a question for you. If he'd been a democrat, would he of resigned? I dought that being as they admit they do not follow the same "moral" high ground as most republicans.

@Drnaline,
If Foley is innocent why did he run for rehab before explaining his actions? I get the impression you don't see anything wrong with his actions.

Being gay isn't the problem with what he did.It would have been just as inappropriate if the victim was female.

As for what the Democrats would have done, you'll have to ask one to get an answer to that question.:dunno:

I think he had a few press conferences and also addressed Congress before he admitted himself to a rehab. I didn't say what he did wasn't wrong, he can only be prosecuted for what he did illegally, nothing much can be done for what he did immorally no matter who's opinion they are following.
What immoral do you think he has done?
What illegally do you think he has done?
Do you think he should be prosecuted?

I'm not asking a demo, i'm asking your opinion? What do you think?
