How can I bring these to by posts to better illustrate my thoughts here?

use a hosting site, such as http://imageshack.us/ or http://photobucket.com/

right click on the image

click on properties

highlight the url and right click then hit copy then ok

choose bbcode editor (little green writing above the reply section) click Img

then copy the image code between the brackets

try it with this picture of you by replying below

oh and william i now own you

if it's your own picture you'll have to host it some where as region suggested, for a pic from the web you need find the image url and display it between image tags

for instance this

Code:[img]http://www.bpsradio.com/weirdmedicine/index_files/image012.jpg[/img]

gets you this

Thanks everyone. Roberts I uploaded an image on one of the sites you suggested. Now what do I need to do link it to a post here? I used "imageshack" and seemed to take a long time for it to appear. Now what Question

click on the picture for information (i) in imageshack, copy and paste the link for FORUMS (not the thumbnail)

you will see it has looks like this

highlight the forums links

The image was one of many I have saved, not directly from the internet. When I go to that image and right click and save, it will not allow me to paste here. On other sites there is a way to browse my computer and open and it up loads. No problem. Is cut and paste obsolete on most sites now?

if it's an image you have saved to your PC - you need to upload it to one of the hosts above (like imageshack.us or photobucket.com)

it's not possible (to my knowledge) to cut and paste images direct onto the forum, however, uploading to the above is very quick.

Izzie I didn't see FORUMS when I right clicked. Or a link. Down below the photo that was uploaded, there were several places in which to share. Sorry for being such a dunce. I know it is easy and I am missing something really simple.

I did something wrong and it would not transfer? I did get link but not the image itself. I will play around with it until I get it. Thanks every one

Hi William

when you click on the image and it comes up you should see a pop up window that looks like this:

you need to click on the forums (under "full size" and tick the tick box - it's the second box down (the larger one)

the link will turn blue

then just paste into the forum and press submit

(sorry, I don't explain too well)

if you quote my post (second green button just below my avatar) you will see what the url looks like for the picture below which is uploaded to imageshack/us

Thanks Izzie but I don't get a page that looks like that. Close but none of those options are present. I wish I know how to bring you the page I AM getting. I am going to try the other link Roberts suggested.

I'd try photobucket - that's easy peasy... (prefer it a lot)

sign on with a username and password and press the green button to upload to an album (usually default)....

then browse to find the image on your PC

when you have uploaded it (unless you wanna tag it) JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE

and you will see this

look to the bottom left hand side and you will see 4 links

click on the bottom link that has [IMG]......[/IMG]

link will turn blue - copy and paste into the window here and submit...

keep perservering - you'll get there... Very Happy
