@Leadfoot,
And I expected an immature response.
You, clearly, require the 'last word' to secure your 'imaginary-audience's' applause - So, one more pointless post is yours for the taking.
Enjoy, and farewell.

@Joe Nation,
Joe(found peace)Nation almost duplicates my ideas about god(s). It's inherent in humans to believe there's some superpower overlooking mankind. That's the reason different cultures created different gods.

@Leadfoot,
There are too many conflicts and contradictions in religions. Nobody can prove their god(s) exist.
Have you seen the people of religion praying to their god? It doesn't matter which god or gods. Religion is based on faith and nothing else.

@mark noble,
Your Question:
Why do people seek solace in God?
.
Maybe its because they have miraculously realized that people are not perfect and they don't know everything.
So who do you give your allegiance to? God or people?
.
PS: Only God is perfect...

@Amoh5,
How can a non-entity be perfect except in one's imagination?

Its an appeal to power, a recognition of weakness and vulnerability of our human condition, and an innate sense of reason and order in reality. Ad the anthropomorphizing of those elements and out pumps a God.

@Fil Albuquerque,
It is human condition; a weakness of believing there must be something superior to humans. Gods are the answer.

I believe that creative imagination belongs to those of religion.

@cicerone imposter,
That's a rather insensitive and cold clinical response. However, we can't grant you a white coat just yet until you have graduated...

@Amoh5,
My graduation happened over 50 years ago, and as the saying goes, you can't train old dogs new tricks.
Although learning continues long after formal education.

@cicerone imposter,
But seriously Cicerone, I don't think I'm perfect or anyone else is. That's why I give allegiance only to the spirit of God our Heavenly Father of all creation which includes our Earthly Mother as well, even though she is not mentioned.
The Sky and the Earth is all that remains if life does not yet exist. Thats what I believe anyway.
You are at liberty to believe what you believe...

@Amoh5,
Nature. I have no concept of what 'God, or 'people" are, via your perception of...
If 'God' (Nature) = everything, then 'everything' = God (Nature).
and people are aspects of such.

@cicerone imposter,
Define 'perfect'?
All is perfect, imo, because, 'all' is a perfectly unique representation of itself.
