Russia's vote approving sanctions against Iran is a major strategic error, according to Petr Iskenderov. Moscow walked into the trap of the six-party talks formula, just like it had during the Kosovo crisis. It wrongly believed that it in exchange for the Iran vote it could free itself of the U.S. anti-missile system but will, once again, lose on both counts at the same time.
