Is that you, Kick? I've no idea, of course. Best way to get help is to click on Contact Us at the bottom of the page and submit a ticket..

@ossobuco,
No, I'm actually stickystan, not kickycan. What kind of idiot would name themselves kickycan? Thanks for the tip though. I have submitted a ticket on behalf of this ridiculous kickycan person.

After the site downtime for maintenance and the merge with the philosophy forum I had trouble logging in also. No matter what I did, it did not accept the password I've used for years here.

The first time, I was able to get it to work by using my full email address as my login rather than my username. After a second round of maintenance downtime, I couldn't get it to work no matter what so I figured I'd try resetting the password.

I was able to fix it by clicking the reset password link on the login screen. When the email was sent to me, I clicked on the link and it sent me to a screen where I could change my password. I reset it to the same password I've always used and was able to login successfully after that.

You might give that a try. There may have been some minor data loss during all the changes and maintenance the last few days.

Exactly the same for me. I used to loggin with my username, but now must use the e-mail address for the user name.

@Intrepid,
I had the same problem. I was temporarily 'living' here as s-ox appeal while things were getting sorted. At one point I couldn't even get in using my eddress and password. Requesting a new password every time I wanted to log-in was getting a bit wearing. Once the help desk got involved, things were fixed quickly.

Logging in with my user name seems to be a thing of the past.

@shewolfnm,
Ah, I just tried using my username for the login and it works now. Thanks for the heads up. Smile
