Does every question have an answer?

@thephoenixlivesagain,
Good question! The only questions worth asking are the ones that have no answers. Answers close off questioning. or questing.

When you "buy" an answer you conclude thinking/Be-ing. The only thing that answers do for you is give you a territory to defend.

I disagree

if the questions have no answers , then also trying to understand the question is closed off

" buy an answer " ? what does that mean ?

true

and rightfully so

but by defending your answer you devolope your thought or idea further , you grow , mature your thinking

sometimes right in your thinking sometimes wrong

@north,
Every question may have an answer, but it doesn't have to be true or factual for people to accept it.

and in the end it is the true and factual that will win in the end

where can we start the boundries of philosophical thought ?

are the boundries based on experience , perception , physiologically construction of any being , nutrients , such as minerals , proteins , which are ALL based on what the Universe gives us ?

what of the spiritual ? while some have a god as their spiritual , some have their ancesters as their spiritual contentment

@north,
It should be based on logic.

@CarolA,
we are here because we chose to come here. before we had bodies God presented a plan. and we accepted that plan. we were thus sent to earth to recieve mortal bodies. Christ is the center of that plan. without him Gods plan would not work. by choosing to follow, and accept Christ while in this life we will be given power, and glory, and be able to return to live with God after this life as immortal beings with perfect resurrected bodies just like Heavenly father, and His Son Jesus Christ have.

Now see there folks: This is an answer to a question without a proper predicate...

@Ding an Sich,
What do blind people dream of? [Do blind people dream?]

"What do we know, and what do we merely believe? How can we tell the one from the other?" - Plato

In a world of darkness, there is no light.
Yet, without the light to cast the shadow,
How can it be dark?
~ Me, aged 12 [signature to many online games]

(we only call darkness "dark" because we have an alternative known as "light". In a world of darkness, there is no light. Without the light there would be no darkness, so what would there be?)
~ Me, aged 12.5 [added to signature after multiple people asked what i was on about]

I did have a couple of other ones, which I pondered whilst reading this board. I regret not writing them down. They were pretty deep.

P.S.
Sorry if we have moved on from posting philosophical questions. Smile

Getting back to the original question, Toughest Philosophical Questions, I deem it to be "who and what am I?"

@cicerone imposter,
Who you are is Be-ing along side the 'world'. 'You' are not a 'what', in order for there to even be a 'what' there has to be someone(You) making a distinction of whether that 'what' is even there or not. 'You' go on of your 'self', and you always will unless you get bored of who you are Be-ing and then 'close the door' on 'him' and then you continue to 'go on' as who you are. You should try to experience this as much as you can, the more you 'kill' your 'self', the closer you are to Be-ing who you are.

By you even posting on this forum I assume that you are 'bored' with who you are Be-ing and I suggest that you 'kill' him. Otherwise you have condemned your 'self' to living an inauthentic life and ultimately rob your 'self' at a chance at authentic experience.

You're acting like monkeys flinging their pooh at each other.

On a personal note from me to you, if you really 'knew' what you're writing about you wouldn't be writing as much as you do.

You've become a walking argument. This too shall pass and you'll wonder why it took so long to get through.

Plug is exactly the correct word...it seams like a looping sample, on n on with the same talk over and over...brain wash! It is not that they even understand what they postulate, if I were to believe it I could do a far better job defending it...it happens its wrong.
