Guess #3: Jane Fonda in Klute
Clue: not a prostitute per se. Another quote from the film, same character, of course:
"Now be nice to me, brother. One morning we'll wake up, and we'll be all alone together."
Gena Rowlands, A Woman Under The Influence, I think.
No. Don't tell me I finally stumped all of you? This is a well known film. One more guess and a new clue.
No fair using Google -- it will pop up immediately.
Lightwiz, did you see fbaezer's post? I think he's right.
No, not correct. I suppose I should have taken the time to make sure it didn't show up in a Google search, but I goofed. Actually, that is a problem with the game -- if one know how, they can quickly look up some of the quotes. It's amazing how many of them are on the Web. Where I don't believe this is cheating -- just a Internet savvy research facility, it makes the game go a little fast with no need for clues.
LW: I think its Written on the Wind.
I cannot tell a lie.
But I remember it now.
You liked me because you could use me. You could use me because I was smart. I'm not smart anymore. I run a gas station.
Hi all,
Sorry I've been "absent",...I've been cooking for the masses!!
I didn't know that last one Lightwizard posted,..don't think I've seen the film.
I know this one from Raggedyaggie,..but since I need to run and have no time to post another,..I'll leave it to you guys!!
I'll be back later tonight,..must run to a little Christmas party now!!
"The Great Gatsby" or "The Postman Always Rings Twice."
Oh jeez. That's a recent one with Jack Nicholson- what was the name of that? I should know, I turned it in late at the video rental. The Stranger? No....
Nope. Not Gatsy, or Postman or Stranger, or Nicholson and not "new".
Yes to
Out of the Past. And now it's my turn to ask you LW. Did
YOU cheat?
I had to pull that out of left field -- suddenly remembered the gas station, an important plot element in that film.
"Can you accept a life of poverty?"
(Didn't cheat -- but tried and came up empty handed).
Sister Act, The Sound of Music, The Name of the Rose?
