glossalalia and the Bush Administration

It occured to me that there has been much confusion (especially among us liberal secular humanists) about understanding much of what is said by members of the Bush Team. Things like "bring it on" and "mission accomplished" other obscure phraseology indicting that increased terrorism in Iraq is a sign that we are winning, well you know all those confusing statements they make that leave us scratching our heads. Its really just their use of glossalalia and those of us un-versed in this spiritual lingo are not very adept at interpreting what it all really means. "WoMD" translates to "does the light stay on when I close the door?" and "axis of evil" really means "man that Coulter babe really has boss chi-chi's" where it really bogs us down in translating is "Osama, you can run but you can't hide" really means "Laura, have you seen my car keys?"

Tongues
Dys, speaking in tongues can be very entertaining when used under different circumstances, but then you already know that, don't you Very Happy ? Ah, but getting back to the subject, I have found a translation of a couple of things dubya said that have been brought to light. BTW, there are several translations available, as glossolalia can be transtated in a variety of ways.

Dubya said:
"In other words, I don't think people ought to be compelled to make the decision which they think is best for their family."

When translated, this actually says,
"No, really, I do like the way you raise your kids, it's just that Carl and Rummy have it staight from God and know how to make them into real, patriotic atomatons, I mean, autocratic, no, I mean democra---oh no, no, I mean good soldiers; yes, good soldiers, fighting to keep our supply of oil high and Arabs low.
===================

Dubya said,
"Now, we talked to Joan Hanover. She and her husband, George, were visiting with us. They are near retirement ?- retiring ?- in the process of retiring, meaning they're very smart, active, capable people who are retirement age and are retiring."

Translation:
Joan and George said they want to get away from here as soon as possible--because they're smart and the neighborhood has gone to hell.
