I agree. The current posters on the philosophy threads have been coming up with ridiculous hypotheticals.
I expect we'll get a better class of hypotheticals too.

Hey, bring on those philosophy nerds--we're ready for 'em. WE THINK, THEREFORE WE ARE.
@Robert Gentel,
Cool! Philosophy forum folk!
Hope it's as smooth a ride for all as it can be given the hole and speed and all.
Somebody shud warn them about the bunny.
@LionTamerX,
I am a highly evolved Wabbit.

American Idol judges can dance on the head of a pin?
@dlowan,
I been around... Tryin to evolve meself.
well, this is just stupid, now we loyal users of a2k have been subjected to changes that were unneeded and totally dysfunctional. we get no respect. Robert just likes to screw with things that work fine, no problems but **** we get changes whether we want or need them for what? Roberts' ego? Isn't he in Nepal anyway? he's not even an american, he probably speaks an alien language and eats strange food and thinks living in poverty is cool. well I for one am sick of it. Oh yeahI think he's antisemitic as well.
I'm not sure how philosophy folks work, looking back at old threads or not - but they might like to look at some of our past threads and need a hand to find those, which involves clicking on POPULAR and then putting their subject word in the tag box, if only to familiarize themselves with the people here.
We can find probably find their old threads too.. which I am wondering just how, same way? Or not, because of the need to shut down the site.
Not speaking re philosophy forum people, but general newbies - I'm always taken a whiff aback when they ask questions that have been answered well/not well and over and over, here. The Tag - search thing seems to not be understood by most.. when it is a great resource.
@Robert Gentel,
You mean, I can filter crossword puzzles?
YES!
@roger,
That is the archetypal usecase for the feature, those who don't like the word games could just filter them all instead of voting them down. That way people in unpopular niches don't get downvoted and the others can still filter out the topics they dislike.
@Robert Gentel,
Quote:I forgot: that also means we are likely to be closing the site for some time tonight (probably an hour or two).
Could you tell me when that will be so that i can try to get on and when i can't i can start a thread whining about how I can't get on this lame site and other things i want to bitch and moan about?
I hope they know it's BYOB.
