No, it is not a transformation in my own character. First, this particular person has savaged several people over the past few months. I should point out that these attacks did not occur on political threads but on "domestic" threads. Second, I started working toward promoting greater civility way back on abuzz . . . and, yes, I have ridiculed people, but never before I read their ridicule or rudeness.
