I’m waiting until 10:00 to start mowing the yard. All the rain we had lately sure had made it grow!

I heard we could get a scattered thunder shower this evening!

Just got home a while ago.
Watched a movie (a pretty dreadful one - can't even recall the name of it) & shared a pizza with a friend.
I think I might be getting a cold ... runny nose & sore-ish throat. (I figured it'd probably be my turn soon. Everyone else seems to have caught it.)
Boiling water for a hot lemon drink with honey.
So drink that, gulp down two aspirin, then off to bed with me!

10:30 and it's 86 F. Heat index report says it feels like 95 F with dew point at a very sticky 75 f. At least there's a 10 mph breeze. Too uncomfy for me to go anywhere without a/c. Have to open car windows now to let heat out of the car to take doggy to the park. Sure wish he could drive.

Also 10:30 EST in Scentral Pa.
We had our drought suspended after a day of nice gentle rain accompanied by a 25 degree drop in tempearature. Its almost like September.
I love it

Today, I will plant a new row of yellow beans.
Cant believe that in a month Ill be plnting my fall farden of root crops , lettuces and kales

Gorgeous, comparatively not sweltering, day.

Just changed my hair colour.
I'm contemplating it.

Set's gone to pick up tea and coffee at the corner.

I'm listening to a very indignant little old lady dog yip and grumble. She hates it when Set does anything without her.

I heard she weighs 35 lbs, but it's "dead weight."

Sunnyvale is now 62 degrees, but will climb another 20 degrees in the late afternoon.
